Yes I Can Awards Ceremony 04.18.23

Carroll County School System's Exceptional Children Services (ECS) held their 12th annual "Yes I Can" awards ceremony at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Cammie Tysver, Director of ECS, welcomed the audience of nearly 500 who attended in celebration of each recognized student. Justice Caldwell, Fabian Ramirez, and Vlad Lockhart led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance followed by an inspirational dance performed by Fever Performing Arts.
 
Additionally, Jordan Chaffin was named ECS Educator of the Year, and Hunter Alcarez was recognized as the ECS New Teacher of the Year. Mark Camp of Advantage Office Solutions was presented with the ECS Ally Award and the department’s Teachers of the Year were Christy Bowen, Jhessail Drain, & Molly Harper. Additionally, The Central Middle School Wrestling Team and Cross Country Team served as ushers for the event.
